I had to create a logo for an event in a very very short amount of time, we were looking for an elegant fall feel. First I was just trying to solve this typographically, but I also experimented with building icons like the leaf below. After a few rounds, I had decided I liked the use of a box to hold the type in, with the idea that this kind of logo could be used for multiple seasons (it would be able to have the type switched with event names similar focusing on fashion and the season, ex. Winter Wonderland, Spring’s Most Wanted, etc)┬á so I went with a more neutral and sleek look.
